The Most Amazing Brownies EVER

24 Apr

These might be the most amazing brownies ever. Believe me, I’ve tried plenty of brownies in my lifetime and these are the best I’ve ever came across. I usually make these for my parent’s diner parties – simply cut them up in little pieces and serve on a platter. They also make fantastic treats for school lunches. (Tip: keep a knife in the tray to cut slivers out discreetly :))

– 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate (I usually use chocolate chips for ease)

– 1 cup butter

– 4 eggs

– 1 1/2 cups white sugar

– 1/2 tsp salt (usally a spin or two)

– 2 tbsp vanilla

– 1 cup flour

– 1/2 chocolate chips (best as a mix of white and milk)

– OPTIONAL 1/2 cup chopped nuts

– 6 oz White Chocolate (for the glaze)

– Large mixing bowl

– 9 x 13 buttered and floured pan

– Spatula

–  2 Small-Medium Glass Measuring cup/bowl

–  2 Spoons

– Whisk

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees farenheit

2. Melt, blend and cool the butter and semisweet chocolate (Just the 2/3 cup, not the other 1/2 cup chocolate)

3. Whisk eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla until mixed. Add the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.

4. Add the flour to the mixture, mix until combined.

5. Fold in the chocolate chips and if using, nuts.

6. Pour batter into pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Best when they are a bit under cooked!

7. Remove from oven when ready and cool.

8. Melt white chocolate and artfully spread over cooled brownies

9. Enjoy!
